Abstract

This research aims to explore how historical records capturing the lens of First Nations communities can empower and influence Indigenous people and communities. Using a comparative case study analysis of the KRIC Archive in northern Victoria and the Ration Shed Museum in south-east Queensland, it will identify the narratives about and within Indigenous led on Country Archives and why these are important to First Nations communities to maintain and protect.
