Biography

Stephen Bell began his academic journey in 2010 with a Bachelor of Health Science Mental Health at Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga. After doing well in the first year he transferred to UNE to study Medicine. After two years he left UNE and worked as a Service Coordinator with Armidale Aboriginal Home Care. In 2018, Stephen not only completed the Professional Certificate in Indigenous Research at the University of Melbourne, he completed a Master’s degree in Indigenous Health with distinction at Wollongong University. He is currently working as a Lecturer at the Oorala Centre UNE Armidale NSW and undertaking a PhD.
