A one-day masterclass for Indigenous PhD scholars

The interactive program combines keynote speakers, a panel, and participant lightning presentations. Together, these sessions will create space to share ideas, hear different perspectives and strengthen your presentation skills.


This year's Masterclass will focus on what it means to find your place as a graduate researcher engaging in scholarship across two worlds with often misaligned expectations.

Masterclass details

The Masterclass runs the day before the Lowitja Institute’s 5th International Indigenous Health and Wellbeing Conference, giving participants an opportunity to connect and continue conversations as the conference begins.

Bursaries available

Four types of bursary support are available, with limited places across each. A full bursary covers registration, travel and accommodation. Other bursaries cover Lowitja Institute Conference registration, travel or accommodation.


Eligibility

  • You are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander PhD student.
  • You agree to sign up to the Poche Newsletter.
  • You are a current member of, or will apply to become a member of, both the Lowitja Institute and the OCHRe Network.
