Francine is a Minang Noongar woman, whose family is originally from Mt. Barker in the Great Southern region (Minang Noongar country), though she has spent most of her life in Boorloo (the Noongar name for Perth) in Whadjuk Noongar country (or Boodjar).

Francine brings 30 years’ experience in the health sector. 20 years as a registered nurse. She is also a trained Epidemiologist (via a Master of Public Health in Applied Epidemiology), which she completed under the supervision of now Australian Chief Medical Officer, Professor Paul Kelly). Her position prior to coming to work at EMHS was as the WA Aboriginal Lead within the WA COVID-19 Vaccination Program.
