Daniel is a Jaru and Indjibarndi man and the current Deputy Medical Director of Derbarl Yerrigan Health Services, the largest Aboriginal Community Controlled Healthcare Organisation in Western Australia.

He has worked in the health care sector since 2010 – predominately in the Aboriginal Community Controlled Healthcare, this has included various roles as a General Practitioner and Deputy Medical Director. Additionally, Daniel had a brief period away from medicine and pursued a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and worked as a Dentist for 2 years at Derbarl Yerrigan Health Services.

He has been at Derbarl Yerrigan Health Services for seven years and within his engagement at Derbarl Yerrigan Health Services is currently the Deputy Medical Director, Clinical Lead of the Social, Emotional and Wellbeing team and Clinical Lead to the Sexual Health team. Daniel participates in the Clinical Governance Committee and Continuous Quality Improvement Committee – providing clinical governance and advice without and external to our service.
