I am a descendant of the Takalak people from the Gulf Region on the upper reaches of the Gilbert River. I have worked across Uniting Care Queensland for five years with teams including Human Resources, Learning and Communications and most recently Indigenous Services and have studied Human Resource Management and am currently in my final semester of a Graduate Certificate in Social Innovation.
As the Manager, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Strategy and Partnerships Team within Uniting Care Queensland my priority is to lead the team and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander initiatives that strengthen workforce development, Reconciliation, strategic directions, organisational cultural competence and self-reliant governance.
