I am a member of the Yorta Yorta Nation with an enduring ancestral and cultural connection to this country. I am an active and contributing community member and am a current Board Director (Executive) of the Rumbalara Football Netball Club, an Advisory Board Director of ASHE (Academy of Sport Health and Education) and a member of the Ministers Community Advisory Committee on the redevelopment of Goulburn Valley Health.
I have twenty years’ experience in Aboriginal education and health across both the community controlled setting and the government sectors. My current research focus is investigating evidence based approaches to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal women and babies, and using population data linkage to accurately ascertain the health of Aboriginal women and infants in the Goulburn Murray community.
