I am a researcher at the WA Centre for Rural Health having devoted most of my life to serving the Geraldton community.  For over 25 years, I have worked in a range of community-focused organisations, specialising in education and employment.

Most recently, I have been instrumental in establishing a range of programs through the Bluff Point Primary School designed to increase attendance and positive behaviour among students at risk of disengaging with education, in December/January I ran a very successful Summer School Holiday program with up to 80 to 90 young kids.

Outside of work, I am a fulltime mum and I also support  young children within my local community providing a safe house when needed.  I am passionate about Basketball, Soccer, Water polo and watching AFL Football especially my team Carlton the mighty Blues.
