Banok Rind is a proud Yamatji Badimaya woman from Western Australia. She is a registered nurse and currently the Deputy Executive Officer at the Koorie Youth Council. Banok has a background in Aboriginal health and wellbeing, and advocacy within the Aboriginal mentoring, leadership and health space.

She has worked extensively in cultural safety within the university and health sector as well as an associate lecturer for Indigenous Health at RMIT University and teaching Indigenous health at ACU University.

Her work heavily highlights the ongoing institutional racism prevalent within health services across the country, reducing health disparities between Indigenous and non-Indigenous people and is a National Ambassador of the Close the Gap campaign.
